Tents on Truck- Truck Tent
Instructions

Step 1. : Drop the tailgate of the vehicle.

Step 2. :  Unfold the tent in the bed of your truck making sure the door is facing the back (tailgate) of the truck.

Step 3. :   LOOSELY attach the straps on each side of the truck by hooking the middle straps under the wheel well and the outside straps under the truck body.

NOTE: The sides of the tent should slightly overlap the top of the truck bed.

Step 4. :  Loosely attach the three straps at the back of the tent around the tailgate; the male clip slips between the truck box and tailgate and wraps around to meet the female clip under the tailgate.

Remember – Do not pull hard on the bungee cords as this will lead to damage. The tent will sit firmly in place with only a minimum of tension

Step 5: Insert the 2 corner-to-corner poles through the tent sleeves on the roof of the tent. These are the two longest poles. Insert the vestibule pole (short gray pole) through the sleeves around the door of the tent.

Remember – Do not pull on the shock-corded fiberglass poles during installation or they will disjoint and become too long to fit into the pockets. If a pole becomes disjointed, be sure to reseat the segments before continuing.

Step 6. : Beginning with the left side of the truck, insert the ends of the poles into the corresponding pockets. Next insert the other ends of the poles on the right side of the truck into the corresponding pockets while raising the tent. Attach the clips to the corresponding pole

Step 7.: Raise the tailgate pole last by again inserting each end into its pocket and fastening the clips around the pole.

Remember – Do not use excessive force when placing poles into pockets because this may tear the pockets.

Step 8.: Open the tent door and insert the black pole on the inside roof of the tent by placing each end into the pockets located at the front and back of the tent.  Then position the pole in the center of the roof and secure it using the Velcro straps.  Once the tent is standing, tighten the straps around your truck to ensure a snug fit

Step 9. : When the rain fly is required, drape the fly over the tent and secure the male clips to the female clips around the tent.
